The Department of Social Work, Don Bosco College, Mannuthy, organised an Anti-Drug Awareness Session as part of its School Outreach Programme on 7 October 2026 at Kerala Agricultural University High School, Vellanikkara. The session was led by Ms. Tuny Baby T., District Counsellor, Don Bosco DREAM II, who engaged with students to raise awareness about the harmful effects of drug use and the importance of leading a healthy, drug-free life.

The session highlighted the significance of making informed and responsible choices, resisting peer pressure, and understanding the physical, psychological, and social consequences of substance abuse. Through meaningful interaction and awareness-building activities, students were encouraged to adopt healthy habits and recognise their responsibility in creating a safe and supportive environment. The programme reinforced the vital role of young people in promoting awareness and contributing towards a healthier, drug-free society.
